In Rishi Nagar locality of Shuklaganj, a young man asked his mother-in-law for money for the treatment of his wife. On which he refused to pay the money. The angry son-in-law brutally beat the mother-in-law to death. Late in the night, the family members rushed him to the district hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared him brought dead. The family members have informed the Ganga Ghat police alleging murder.
Vandana had come to daughter’s house
Indra Kumar Tiwari’s daughter Diksha, resident of Makhi police station area, was married to Ashish alias Pandit, a resident of Rishi Nagar in Ganga Ghat Kotwali area. On the previous day, her mother-in-law Vandana Tiwari (46) had come to her daughter’s house with her son Deepak. The relatives alleged that the son-in-law demanded ten thousand rupees from Vandana for the operation of stones of his wife Diksha. To which he refused to pay the money. The angry son-in-law beat up the wife. To which Vandana objected. When she resisted, she slammed her mother-in-law on an iron net. Due to which he suffered serious head injuries. The family members rushed him to Unnao District Hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead. On the information of the murder, Western outpost in-charge Loknath Gupta reached the spot and investigated. During this, he told that the dead body has been sent to the PM after taking possession. The cause of death will be known only after the PM report comes. Action will be taken on receipt of the complaint.
