The trailer of 'Slumdog Millionaire' fame actor Dev Patel's directorial debut film 'Monkey Man' has been released. Dev Patel will debut as a director with this film. The film will be released worldwide on April 5 this year.

In the trailer, Dev is seen in the role of an ex-criminal living in India. Somewhere he is searching for his existence while fighting with himself. Somewhere he is seen fighting in the ring wearing a gorilla mask. Dev's childhood story is also shown in the backdrop of the trailer. In some scenes, he is also seen fighting with villains Makrand Deshpande and Sikandar Kher. Some part of the film is also inspired by the Legend of Hanuman.
