Rajshree Production’s film ‘Dono’ has been released on 5th October. This production house, started in 1947, has made countless films till now. These films have been focusing on Indian culture, the fabric of relationships, family and moral values.

This film also tries to show something similar. Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer Deol and Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma have debuted through this film. This is also the first film of Sooraj Barjatya’s son Avnish Barjatya. The length of the film is 2 hours 36 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given the film 3 out of 5 stars.

What is the story of the film?
The story of the film revolves around Rajveer in the role of Dev and Paloma in the role of Meghna. Their fates collide in a destination wedding, where they both forget their past and try to give love a second chance. Many wedding sequences are shown in Rajshri’s films. Something similar is happening this time too.

How is the acting of the star cast?
The chemistry of Rajveer Deol and Paloma Dhillon is good. Both have done their job well, but there is a slight lack of dialogue delivery and conviction in many scenes, which makes it seem that both of them need to learn a little more.

Rajveer is the younger son of Sunny Deol.

How is the direction of the film?
This film has been directed by Sooraj Barjatya’s son Avnish Barjatya. A little glimpse of Rajshree’s old films has been seen in this film. Avneesh has been seen trying to carry forward this legacy in a new and refreshing style.

Keeping in mind the youth and their problems, Avneesh has tried to write a different story with the writer. Cinematographer Chittaranjan Das has captured the beautiful valleys of Thailand very well on camera.

The first half of the film seems a bit weak. Many scenes have been dragged out without any meaning. The film could have been more interesting if some scenes had been removed. The part after the interval is definitely better than the first half.

How is the music of the film?
The music of this film has been given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Generally the music of Rajshri’s films is quite impressive, however the music of this film is nothing special. Music is not something that is remembered for a long time. However, its title track and another song ‘Tauba’ definitely sound interesting.

Should one watch the movie or not?
It would be difficult to say that the subject of the film will be able to draw everyone to the cinema hall. Although there is absolutely no vulgarity in the film. If you are a fan of Rajshree’s films and want to watch a clean romantic film, then you can watch it once. The film is a one time watch.
