The craze of former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not limited to cricket. There are prominent personalities from other fields who also admire the legendary wicketkeeper-batter.
Recently, Ram Charan, a glittery name in the Telugu film industry, was seen posing alongside Dhoni in a viral photograph. The picture was shared on Instagram by Seemanth Lohani, who is recognised as Dhoni’s childhood buddy as well as his business partner. Though no details of the meeting were revealed, there were some X users who claimed Ram Charan and Dhoni met in Mumbai ahead of a shoot for an advertisement.
What supports the speculations is an Instagram post by Aalim Hakim, a celebrity hairstylist who recently assisted Dhoni in sporting a new look. Hakim unveiled the latest hairstyle of Dhoni on October 3. He also shared a long note in the caption, expressing his love and respect for the Chennai Super Kings captain. At the end of the caption, Hakim wrote, “So here I am sharing some images which I clicked before he went to give a shot for an ad film.”
Going by the revelation, it could be assumed that MS Dhoni jetted off to Mumbai on Tuesday and teamed up with Mega Power Star Ram Charan for a promotional film. The duo earlier shared the screen for a Pepsi ad back in 2010 and the commercial was an instant hit. Fans are anticipating another collaboration between Dhoni and Ram Charan. In the viral picture, Dhoni, wearing a blue polo t-shirt, was seen smilingly standing by Ram Charan and Seemanth Lohani.
In another viral video, Dhoni could be seen getting clicked with some fans in a hotel. The netizens are skipping a beat over the former India captain’s new hairdo, which reminds everyone of his old look.
Speaking about MS Dhoni’s new look, the 42-year-old is once again back with long hair, which was iconic for the Ranchi-born cricketer during the early phase of his career. Since making his India debut in 2004, Dhoni had multiple hairstyles thus far. But his shoulder-length hair still remains on the top. Considering the hype, Aalim Hakim requested Dhoni to grow his hair again ahead of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Following the ODI World Cup triumph in 2011, MS Dhoni, in a shocking move, shaved off his head. Later, a report by the Times of India revealed that Dhoni became bald owing to a religious cause. He made a commitment to do so before a deity in his hometown Ranchi. Dhoni offered his hair at the Balaji temple in Tirupati.
