Police reached the spot on information about the murder.

In Muzaffarnagar, a servant working on a farmer's farm was murdered by hitting a heavy object on his head at night while he was sleeping. Police have recovered a 20 kg container used in the murder from the spot. The body was sent for post-mortem. The deceased was a resident of West Bengal, and worked in a farmer's field.
