Updates will be available on the portal

As soon as the mutation certificate is issued, its information will be updated on the authority’s portal. The Vice President has made SOP in this regard on Monday and has fixed the responsibilities of the officers and planning assistants. Strict action will be taken against the person concerned if the file is withheld for more than the stipulated time.

Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma said that name transfer is done by the allottees taking residential and commercial properties under various schemes of the authority. Under the Public Interest Guarantee Act, the transfer process should be completed within 60 days. But, due to some complex processes, the proceedings are taking longer and some cases are pending for more than a year.

VC had ordered simplification

Last Saturday, the Vice President witnessed some such incidents while disposal of pending files. On this, the Vice President has issued SOP simplifying the process of name transfer. According to this, on receipt of online application, Nodal Officer, Officer-in-Charge-Property, Planning Assistant will have to forward the file within the stipulated period. The application form will be matched with the file by the planning assistant.

After completion of the entire process, its recommendation will be sent to the Estate Officer in-charge, Level-1. All this action will be completed within seven days. After this, the officer in-charge will send online information to the allottee on the same day to deposit the transfer fee or publication fee. At present, when the applicant submits the fee online, it takes time for verification between the property and accounts section. Now this process has been simplified.

The property section itself will verify the amount through UTR, IMPS number. After the process of transfer, the file will be sent to the accounts section for verification. If any mistake is found in this, the transfer will be canceled and the transfer fee will be deposited along with interest. In case of mutation on the basis of inheritance, the property officer in-charge will approve and cancel the application online after completing the process. After this the mutation certificate will be downloaded and placed in the file. Along with this, information about transfer of name will also be registered on the authority’s portal.
