800 bigha wheat crop was destroyed due to fire in Sant Kabirnagar of UP. Villagers also threw stones at the officers who arrived late on the spot.
Around 800 bigha wheat crops in Thurnda Pardeswa and Sirsiyehwa villages were burnt to ashes after a fire broke out in Achanpur Anda village in Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. If the villagers are to be believed, there has been a loss of more than millions. The villagers were enraged after seeing the fire brigade which arrived about 3 hours after the fire.
The people present there started hurling stones at the administrative officers, and in a hurry, the police and administrative officials escaped and saved their lives. However, pieces of glass of some vehicles were found on the roads during this period. According to the information, a sudden fire broke out in the farm in Joranda village of Dudhara police station area of the district. Due to the strong wind flow, the standing crop of about 800 bighas of wheat in Thurnda Pardeswa and Sirsiyehwa villages was burnt to ashes.
Fire brigade reached the spot three hours after the fire
About 3 hours after the fire, the villagers became quite angry when the fire brigade arrived. Villagers said that the fire brigade was called several times but it took 3 hours to reach it. According to the villagers, the standing crop of wheat worth more than lakhs of rupees has been destroyed by burning. Some also said that everything that was in his fields has been burnt to ashes.
