The dates of NEET PG 2021 have been announced by the National Board of Examination (NBE). According to the released schedule, the exam will be held on 18 April. The registration process for this will start soon. Eligible candidates can apply till 30 June for this examination to be conducted in computer based mode. Students will be able to apply online through the official portals nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in.
Who can apply?
Only those candidates who complete their internship on or before 2021 can apply for this examination for admission in PG Medical Courses. Apart from this, the candidates applying for the examination should have a permanent MBBS degree or MCI recognized by the institute recognized by the NMC or a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the State Medical Council. Admission will be given in PG Medical Courses
NEET PG is conducted every year for admission to Master of Surgery, Doctor of Medicine and PG Diploma programs. Through NEET PG Entrance Exam, 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS), 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MS) and 1,979 PG Diploma seats are offered in 6,102 Government, Private, Deemed Universities and Central Universities.
Examination will be done in computer based mode
Last year, 1,67,102 candidates had registered for this exam, out of which 1,60,888 candidates appeared in the examination. The exam will be of 3.30 hours, in which 300 multiple choice questions (MCQ) will be asked. in the exam . The language of the examination will be English. In this exam, questions related to MBBS program along with pre-clinical, clinical, para-clinical topics will be asked, which will have negative marking.
