- Healthy women, happy family campaign launched under Project Nirmala
Patna’s famous voluntary organization Nai Dharti has started Healthy Women, Happy Family Campaign under Project Nirmala in Fatehpur Block. Under this campaign, the organization has adopted four Mahadalit villages of the block. In these adopted villages, more than 400 women and girls have been given free sanitary pads on Saturday. Sanitary pads will be provided free of cost to women and girls every month in the villages adopted by the organization with the courtesy of Terex India Pvt Ltd. On behalf of the new earth organization, the team of project coordinators Shailesh Kumar Singh, Archana Kumari, Neha Kumari Gupta, Ravi Kumar reached Gurpa Koltin, Goshalchak, Sheetalpur and Darbhanga Mahadalit villages of Fatehpur block on Saturday. The people of the team adopted and gave free sanitary pads to more than 400 women and girls. Also made them aware about cleanliness. Nandita Banerjee, secretary of the New Earth Society, told that her organization works in the interest of the poor and helpless people. Under this, Healthy Women, Happy Family Campaign was started under Project Nirmala. Four Mahadalit villages of Fatehpur have been adopted under this campaign. All the women and girls here will be given free sanitary pads every month for a whole year, so that there will be awareness about cleanliness among women. He said that the special thing is that this sanitary pad has been prepared by the women of New Earth Society together. Project coordinators of the organization Shailesh Kumar Singh, Archana Kumari, Neha Kumari Gupta, Ravi Kumar as well as social workers Anil Kumar Yadav, Manoj Mishra and many other people of the village were present on the occasion.
