A new initiative is being taken by the Women and Child Development Department for employment in Madhya Pradesh. Under this, it has been decided to start the ‘Launch Pad Scheme’ under the Child Protection Scheme. Under this scheme, new opportunities of employment will be given to the boys / girls who have completed 18 years who have come out of the institutional supervision of the child care institutions of the state. In this, shops will be opened in other public places including the collectorate premises.

Divided into five clusters

In the Launch Pad Scheme, 52 districts of the state are divided into 5 clusters. It is being started in five divisional headquarters Bhopal, Indore, Sagar, Gwalior and Jabalpur. Government of India has got this innovation of Madhya Pradesh government. It is being launched in the current financial year.

In this scheme, the district to open a group of 6 to 8 youths who have completed the age of 18 years of the child houses in the Collector office premises or other public place for coffee shop, stationery, photocopying, computer typing, DTP work, notary etc. Space will be provided by the administration. An amount of Rs 6 lakh will be provided by the Women and Child Development Department for the installation of each launch pad. These launch pads will be operated through the non-governmental organization and the organization will also provide detailed training in pad handling.
