Centre Reiterates No Special Status For Bihar, RJD Says Nitish Kumar Should Resign

The Centre on Monday reiterated its stand that Bihar will not be granted special category status. The Nitish Kumar-led JD(U), which is a key constituent of the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance, had recently passed a resolution demanding special category status, or a special package, for the state. NEET-UG 2024 Supreme Court Hearing Live Updates: IIT Delhi Tasked With Resolving Key Physics Question

NEET-UG 2024 SC Hearing Live Updates: A three-judge bench, presided over by CJI DY Chandrachud and including Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, which was hearing the NEET UG paper leak and exam cancellation pleas today, has adjourned the matter to tomorrow, July 23. The bench noted that the paper leak occurred either on May 4 or earlier. It also directed the IIT Delhi director to form a three-member committee and form an opinion on a question asked in NEET UG 2024. During the hearing, the NTA admitted to wrong question paper distribution at some centres and added that grace marks were given to only those students whose Canara Bank question papers were withdrawn in the middle of the exam and replaced with the SBI question paper. The agency also filed an additional affidavit refuting the petitioners’ allegations of a conflict of interest involving the IIT Madras director, who prepared the data analytics report. READ MORE
