NIFT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Results Announced at nift.admissions.nic.in – News18

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the round one seat allotment list for the 2024 batch. Candidates who applied for counselling can check the NIFT 2024 seat allotment results on the official website, nift.admissions.nic.in. The registration process for e-counselling concluded earlier this month and candidates who cleared the NIFT exam were able to submit their choices by June 19.

NIFT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result: How To Check

Step 1: Visit NIFT’s official website nift.admissions.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, locate the candidate activity board.

Step 3: Click on ‘Round 1 Seat Allocation Result for UG Counselling 2024’.

Step 4: You will be taken to another page where candidates must enter their application number and password.

Step 5: The NIFT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment results will be displayed on your screen.

The official notice from NIFT stated, “Candidate who have been allotted seat may download their Provisional Allotment Letter from their portal.” Furthermore, candidates who have been shortlisted for the NIFT seat allotment round 1 must pay the admission fee by June 24. The students need to indicate if they are interested in taking admission before paying the fees. Those who were not assigned a seat in Round 1 will be automatically considered in subsequent rounds if they are registered.

Meanwhile, the institute had recently revised the dates for admission counselling. As per the revised schedule, the second round will start after the choice filling and fee payment procedures for the first round are completed.

Correction in application form- June 26

Document verification- June 26

Choice filling- June 27 to 29

Seat allotment- July 1

Admission fee payment and Withdrawal- July 1 to 3

Round 3

Correction in application form- July 5

Document verification- July 5

Choice filling- July 6 to 7

Seat allotment- July 9

Admission fee payment and Withdrawal- 9 to 11 July

Round 4

Correction in application form- July 13

Document verification- July 13

Choice filling- July 14 to 15

Seat allotment- July 17

Admission fee payment and withdrawal- July 17 to 19

Following the completion of the four rounds, the institute will conduct a spot round from July 21 to 29. Subsequently, candidates are required to report to their allotted colleges by July 31.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the NIFT 2024 admission test for various Bachelor and Masters programmes on February 5 in 60 cities across the country. Following the entrance examination, the recorded responses of the candidates and tentative answer keys were made available on the official website. The results were declared in March.
