Noida Police had an encounter with the miscreant. The miscreant has been identified as Sajid. More than 36 cases are registered against this. He used to rob people while traveling on bike. There has already been an encounter with the miscreant once.

Encounter took place in Phase-1 area

During the intensive checking campaign in Noida, police station Phase-1 signaled them to stop after seeing a suspicious person riding a Apache motorcycle coming on the dirty drain road from Chilla border. On which the person turned the motorcycle back towards the dirty drain and tried to run away. When the police team tried to stop the motorcycle, it slipped. The miscreant opened fire on the police team with the intention of killing them.

In the retaliatory action taken by the police team, the miscreant got injured due to bullet injury. The injured criminal has been identified as Sajid son of Yunus, resident of Trilokpuri, New Delhi. An illegal pistol of .315 bore with 01 cartridge and 01 live cartridge, a stolen motorcycle Apache and three mobile phones have been recovered from the possession of the miscreant. On getting information about the recovered motorcycle, its registration number was found to be UP 81 AJ 3678. This bike was stolen from Phase-1 police station area on 30 August 2024.

About 30 cases are registered against the criminal in Delhi and 6 cases in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
