The trace of 20 computers that went missing from upper primary schools in Farrukhabad two years ago is yet to be traced. In fact, 157 computers were purchased in 2015-16 and 2017-18 to provide computer education to children in basic schools. which gradually disappeared from the schools. When the matter of computer disappearance came to light in 2020, orders were given for investigation. But till now no action has been taken in the matter.

In 2020, there was a complaint of computer missing on the CM Portal. The District Magistrate ordered the investigation after conducting the investigation. On the instructions of the DM, an inquiry committee was formed under the supervision of the Additional District Officer. In which 1-1 computer was said to be with the officers posted in former BSA and Rajepur Shamshabad block.

Along with this, the matter of computers being installed in the DM office also came to the fore. In the investigation report, twenty computers of council schools were said to be missing. The District Basic Education Officer had sent a letter to the concerned department and former BSA and teachers asking them to submit the computer to the District Basic Education Officer office. It is going to be a year and a half and so far not a single computer has been recovered.

Computers were bought for these schools
Computers were purchased for seven other schools including Khinmini of Shamshabad block, Chaurasia Majhola, Shamshabad Roshanabad, Gutasi of Chandni Badhpur, Nawabganj block, Janeya Satheya, Kaloli Mahbulla Nagar, Nagla Kalar, Arra Awajpur, Siwara of Qayamganj, Sirauli in Mohammadabad.

1.25 lakh was spent per school
Rs.1.25 lakh was spent per school for imparting computer training. There were three monitors one CPU three mouse three keyboard three sockets and the match was purchased today. At the same time, District Basic Education Officer Lalji Yadav said that due to departmental work, this matter got stuck in our mind. People who have computers. They will again be asked to send the letter and submit the computer to the BSA office.
