Today, weโ€™ll talk about an actor who has gotten his name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records for playing multiple characters in one film. We are talking about Malayalam actor Johnson George. In 2018, he made a film called Aaranu Njan, in which he played a record 45 characters. The official website of the Guinness World Records notes, โ€œThe most characters played by one actor in a single film is 45, achieved by Johnson George (India) in the film Aaranu Njan, in Kerala, India, verified on 12 September 2018.โ€ Jonson played roles like Jesus, Leonardo DaVinci and Gandhi in the film, the website stated further.

The Malayalam film Aaranu Njan is directed by PR Unnikrishnan, it was released in March 2018. The protagonists of the film are Jayachandran Thagazhikaran and Muhammed Nilamboor. Johnson George appeared as various personalities throughout the film like Mahatma Gandhi, APJ Abdul Kalam, and Jesus. The duration of the film is one hour and forty-seven minutes. As of now, no one has been able to break this record.

Actor Sanjeev Kumar has played nine roles in the 1974 film, Naya Din Nai Raat. It was a remake of a Tamil film titled Navarathri, which was released in 1964. It starred Sivaji Ganesan, who also played nine roles. Govinda played six roles in the 2000 film, Hadh Kar Di Aapne. He was seen as the main lead and the five of his family members. Kamal Haasan was seen playing ten roles in the hit Telugu film Dasavathaaram. His characters ranged from the former US president George Bush, a priest from the 10th century and a Japanese martial artist.
