If there is any electrical fault to be rectified or any electricity related problem. If the employee at a power house does not pick up the phone, the consumer can express his views through WhatsApp message. Complaint about power substation employees not picking up the phone or not getting satisfactory answers

The Electricity Department has created a WhatsApp group on the mobile phones of 222 power sub-stations of all the five districts of Ayodhya zone. All the consumers connected to the sub-sub-centre are being added to this group. WhatsApp groups of all sub-centres will always be active. Electricity supply and important information will be shared in this group.

Chief Engineer of Madhyanchal Electricity Distribution Corporation, Ayodhya, Ashok Kumar Chaurasia said that complaints were being received that the employees at the power house do not answer the phones. When the phone is answered, there is no proper answer.
WhatsApp group formed on 32 power substations According to Executive Engineer Electricity Distribution Division I Pradeep Kumar Verma, separate WhatsApp groups have been formed for all 32 electricity sub-centres of the city area, in which more than three lakh consumers are being added sub-centre wise. In this group, all the employees from JE to the sub-centre have been made administrators. This makes it easier to exchange electricity related information immediately.
