18,021 new cases a day in UP

At the same time, there are 18,021 new cases in UP in the 24 hours of corona infection in the state. Lucknow records 5382 new cases in 24 hours. There were 85 deaths in the state and 18 deaths in Lucknow. If you look at the figures, between 5 and 11 April, there has been an increase of 281% corona cases in UP.

CM Yogi has directed the Chief Minister to continue the effective action of controlling Kovid-19 in accordance with the goal of ‘Test, Trace, Treat’. Ensure adequate availability of Kovid beds and Oxygen in all districts, the arrangements of Kovid hospitals should be kept in order. Instructions have been given for smooth operation of ambulance services for Corona patients.

More than one and a half million tests should be done
CM Yogi said that, while giving instructions to extend the RTPCR test, CM Yogi has instructed to conduct around RTPCR test of one and a half lakh in 24 hours. Medical system should be improved by paying special attention to district Lucknow, Kanpur city, Varanasi and Prayagraj. Increase the number of L-2 and L-3 Kovid beds in every district, smooth availability of oxygen in all districts.

Regular monitoring should be done for the operation of Kovid hospitals in private medical colleges, medical personnel as well as other medical resources should be provided for these hospitals as per the requirement. The Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Health and Principal Secretary Medical Education should regularly review the arrangements of Kovid Hospitals and the availability of various medical resources.

CM said that the RTPCR capacity available in these laboratories should be fully utilized by communicating with various central institutes located in the state. TruNat machines should also be used for covid screening.

Facilities should be increased in 12 districts
To increase the number of RTPCR tests, laboratories should be set up on priority in 12 districts. These laboratories will be set up in the districts of Amethi, Auraiya, Bijnor, Kushinagar, Deoria, Mau, Siddharthnagar, Sonbhadra, Bulandshahar, Sitapur, Mahoba and Kasganj. Instructions to conduct sanitation, sanitization and fagging on a war footing, resources available in sugar mills should also be used in this work.

Awareness work should be done effectively through public address system at major intersections and other public places, so that the messages being transmitted through the public address system can be heard so that people can listen carefully. The work of contact tracing should be done proactively and the monitoring committees should work at a fast pace.
