District DM Vishal Bhardwaj and SP Anurag Arya took to the streets for Namaz in Azamgarh.

After the death of mafia Mukhtar Ansari, lodged in Banda jail of Uttar Pradesh, due to heart attack, security arrangements have been increased in the entire state. In the same sequence, in Azamgarh district also, senior police and administration officials took to the streets late in the night and visited the mixed populated areas of the district. Along with this, police and administration officials also directed that if anyone spreads any kind of rumour, punitive action will be taken against him.
