India has submitted an official bid to host the Olympic Games-2036. Under this, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has also written an official letter to the International Olympic Council (IOC).

If India wins the hosting of the Olympic Games, it will be the first time that the Olympic Games will be organized in an Indian city.

Hosts till 2032 are decided, bidding will happen for 2036 The Olympic hosts till 2032 have been decided. The hosting of 2032 has been given to Brisbane city of Australia. Whereas, the 2028 Olympics are to be held in Los Angeles.
India has organized 2 Asian and one Commonwealth Games India has hosted 3 multi-sports games so far. The country last hosted the Commonwealth Games in 2010. Before this, Asian Games of 1982 and 1951 had also been organized in our country.
