Electrification work of Rampur-Lalkuan rail section (66 km) on Izzatnagar Division of North Eastern Railway has been completed. Railway Safety Commissioner, Northeast Circle Muhammad Latif Khan, along with Divisional Railway Manager Ashutosh Pant will inspect the newly electrified Rampur-Lalkuan railway section from Rampur at 9 am on March 30. After inspection, speed test will also be done on Lalkuan-Rampur rail section in return.
Appeal to villagers not to go on track
Divisional Railway Manager Ashutosh Pant has appealed to the general public that during the inspection and speed trial of the newly electrified railway section by the Commissioner of Railway Safety, neither go on your own nor let your cattle go on the railway track. The main reason for which is that high voltage 50 Hz current will flow in the over head of this section on which the Commissioner of Railway Safety will conduct speed test from the special inspection train. Now this section will be considered electrified. Due to which stay away from the railway track.
