Acting on the information, the police laid siege to the miscreants and asked them to surrender. The miscreants, seeing themselves surrounded by the police, started firing instead of surrendering. In response, the police opened fire. In which a miscreant was injured due to bullet in the leg, the same 3 of his accomplices have been arrested by the police.

In the city Kotwali area, on August 16, in broad daylight police outpost area, bike-borne miscreants had carried out an incident of one crore five lakh from a bullion trader. It was learned from the police sources that the police have recovered cash worth around 45 lakhs from the possession of the miscreants injured in the encounter. And till now the police has recovered a total of 90 lakhs out of the looted amount of 1 crore 5 lakhs.

In this regard, SSP Gaurav Grobar said that the miscreant Arvind, who was injured in the encounter, is a crook with a reward of 1 lakh. On August 16, Arvind, along with his associates, had carried out the robbery of a bullion trader in broad daylight. In which the miscreants took one crore five lakh loot. After the robbery incident, the police, disclosing it on August 26, sent 7 criminals to jail. From whom the police had recovered 44 lakh 86 thousand rupees. Of those who carried out the robbery, the police arrested Nitesh son Girprasad, Tarun Chaudhary son Arjun, Jeetu alias Jitendra son Harishchand, Gir Prasad son Jaswant Singh, Jagviri wife Girprasad resident Bhavokara police station Jewar Gautam Budh Nagar, Ajay son Gokul Singh resident of Kolahar Naujheel and Informer Komal son of Banwari resident Mahadev Ghat police station Sadar Bazar Mathura was arrested.
