Orry was trolled after he shared pictures of his new ‘mohawk’ look.
Orhan Awatramani faced severe backlash on social media after he took a dig at those doing 9 to 5 jobs.
Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, unveiled his new look on social media on Sunday (July 28), but faced harsh criticism from netizens. The celebrity influencer, known for his bold style choices, debuted a dramatic hairstyle change on Instagram. While Orry is no stranger to experimenting with his appearance, this latest transformation seems to have struck a discordant note with his followers.
Alongside his new look, Orry shared a caption that mocked the 9-5 work routine, saying, “I wake up every evening with a big smile on my face, and I never feel out of place, and yes, you’re probably still working at a 9-5 pace.. and I wonder how bad that tastes.” This comment further fueled the backlash, with many criticizing him for his insensitivity towards those with traditional jobs.
Within hours, Orry’s post was inundated with comments, many of which were sharply critical. Trolls mocked his style, drawing unflattering comparisons to a chicken, and some questioned his fashion sense. The backlash quickly intensified, as memes and negative remarks spread rapidly across various social media platforms, amplifying the criticism and turning his new look into a viral topic of debate.
One of them wrote, “Stylist name? To avoid?” Another one commented, “Murga cut Orry.” Someone else said, “Bro your entire persona is based on dissing people working 9-5. The nurses that birthed you worked 9-5, but yeah whatever.”
Despite the barrage of negative feedback, Orry remains unfazed. Previously, he made headlines with a viral debut poster shared by PVR Inox, which they later deleted. The poster, reportedly leaked by PVR Inox, featured the caption, “Orry spills it all in #Orryginal! From social media to his big screen debut, watch @orry like never before only at #PVRINOX.”
Fans often speculate about Orry’s profession, as he refers to himself as a ‘liver.’ According to his LinkedIn page, Orry is a social activist from Mumbai, serving as a Special Project Manager at Reliance Industries Limited’s Chairperson Office. He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Communication Design degree from New York’s Parsons School of Design.
