England defeated Pakistan by 93 runs in ICC World Cup 2023 clash on Saturday.

Pakistan cricket fans roasted Babar Azam’s team with memes and harsh words after England beat the Men in Green by 93 runs on Saturday.

Pakistani cricket fans minced no words while criticising Babar Azam’s team after the Men in Green were knocked out of the ICC World Cup 2023’s semi-final race on Saturday. Pakistan’s chances of advancing to the next round were extremely unlikely when they took on England at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens yet fans backed their side for at least a consolation win. But that weren’t meant to be.

Batting first, England put up a daunting total of 337/9 with Jonny Bairstow (59), Joe Root (60) slamming half-centuries up front. England star Ben Stokes was the top scorer in the camp with 84 to his name.

In response, Pakistan were bowled out for 244, losing their final outing by a margin of 93 runs. As for defending champions England, their torrid run in the tournament ended with a win.

Seeing their side crash out in a humiliating way, Pakistan fans doubled down on their criticism for the team and Babar Azam’s captaincy also became a hot topic of discussion on social media platform ‘X’.

Meanwhile, India are all set to meet New Zealand in the first semi-finals that will take place on November 15 at the Wankhede Stadium. South Africa will take on Australia in the second semi-finals at the Eden Gardens on November 16.

The winners of these clashes will take field at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.
