A sudden fire broke out in a paper warehouse in Greater Noida, UP in the afternoon. In this, goods worth lakhs of rupees became ashes.
A fire broke out in a paper warehouse located at Kudi Kheda Mor in Badlapur police station area of Greater Noida on Sunday afternoon in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This caused panic and panic around. The people present on the spot immediately informed the police and fire department. Fire brigade arrived at the scene to control the fire in time and averted a major accident. However, the paper worth lakhs of rupees kept in the warehouse has burnt down. It is a matter of relief that no person was harmed.
According to the Gautam Budh Nagar police, fire brigades left for the spot as soon as the information was received. The fire was overcome after hard work. Many tons of paper were kept in the warehouse. Because of this, there was a lot of difficulty in extinguishing the fire. Badlapur police station reached the spot and removed the people nearby and instructed to take precaution.
Police is investigating the cause of fire
At present, no casualties have been reported. On getting the information, the owner of the warehouse and other concerned people reached the spot. It is being ascertained how the fire broke out. Police say that if a complaint is received, it will be investigated as it is suspected.
An eyewitness present on the spot said that the fire spread rapidly due to the paper being filled in the warehouse and in a short time, the flames started rising. Only smoke was visible in the vicinity of 500 meters. Due to paper, the fire was likely to spread to other buildings and warehouses. But the fire department’s readiness averted a major accident.
