Pathan has broken the record of Aamir Khan’s film Dangal. Dangal earned 374.43 crores at the domestic box office. According to the Box Office India report, Pathan has collected 386.50 crores in just 11 days. With this, Pathan has become the highest grossing Bollywood film. While talking about Pathan’s worldwide collection, the film’s figure has reached 729 crores.
Pathan is now at the forefront of films originally made in the Hindi language. Talking about the highest-grossing films in the overall Hindi version, only Bahubali 2 and KGF 2 are ahead of Pathan.

Aamir Khan’s 2016 release Dangal had a lifetime collection of 374.43 crores at the domestic box office. Since 2016, no Bollywood film could break this record. Now Pathan has beaten the total collection of Dangal in just 11 days of release.

Pathan’s entry in films with worldwide highest collection
Dangal had the highest worldwide collection of 2,024 crores among films originally made in Hindi language. At number two was Salman Khan’s film Bajrangi Bhaijaan which had an overall collection of 969.06 crores worldwide. Now Pathan’s entry has been made in this list with 729 crores.
It is worth noting that Dangal and Secret Superstar were huge hits in China.
Pathan is the shortest film to earn 300 crores
Pathan had completed the figure of 300 crores in the shortest possible time. Pathan has made a record by earning 318.50 crores in the opening week itself. Earlier, the Hindi version of KGF 2 had earned the highest in the first week. KGF 2 collected 268.63 crores in the first week while Bahubali 2 earned 247 crores.

Pathan had a bumper opening of 55 crores on the very first day of its release. Earlier this record was in the name of KGF 2, whose Hindi version earned 53.95 crores on the first day. The Hollywood film Avengers Endgame collected 53.35 crores at the Indian box office on the first day of its release. Pathan has demolished all these records with the release.
