In the last 5 months, 6 lakh 84 thousand 850 rupees have been collected from those who spread dirt in the 100 wards of Agra Municipal Corporation. The highest fine has been imposed in Mantola. A fine of 2 lakh 45 thousand 700 rupees has been collected from Mantola area alone. Municipal Corporation is now the biggest collector of the city.

- In January, a fine of Rs 86450 was imposed on 164 people.
- In February, a fine of Rs 162800 was imposed on 279 people.
- In March, a fine of Rs 81550 was imposed on 151 people.
- In April, a fine of Rs 254700 was imposed on 126 people.
- In May, a fine of Rs 99350 was imposed on 165 people.

The Mantola area of โโthe Municipal Corporation has the most dirt. In the last 5 months, about 50 percent of the total fine amount has been collected from here. Many have been let off with a warning. Additional Municipal Commissioner Surendra Yadav said that one locality has been identified from each ward. Where there is the most dirt. People of that area are being made aware. Along with the fine, those who spread dirt are also being warned.
Crores of rupees are spent
To get rid of the sewer problem in the city, the Municipal Corporation administration spends about three and a half crore rupees every month and Rs 2.56 crore on the sanitation system. Even after spending about six crore rupees every month, the city is not getting rid of neither sewer nor dirt.

The Municipal Corporation will identify the people who litter on the roads with the help of cameras. More than 4 thousand cameras have been connected to the command center of Agra Smart City. These cameras will keep an eye on anti-social elements, people who spread dirt and those who damage the property of the Municipal Corporation across the city. Currently, the trial period is going on. Cameras of common people’s homes, CCTV cameras of commercial buildings, cameras of banks, petrol pumps will also be attached to the command control room of the Municipal Corporation. Prafull Kumar, Project Manager at Smart City Center, said that with the help of these cameras, those who litter on the roads will be monitored.
