Father was from Afghanistan and mother from Iran
Firoz Khan was born on 25 September 1939 in Bangalore. His father Sadiq Ali Khan Tanovi was from Afghanistan and mother Fatima was from Iran. After graduation, Firoz came to Mumbai because since childhood he wanted to pursue a career in acting. After coming here, he made his acting debut in the film Didi released in 1960.

Extra Marital Affair After Being Father Of Two Children
Everything was going well that one day Firoz Khan’s eyes fell on Air Hostess Jyotika. He liked her at first sight. Later both started dating each other. After some time, his wife came to know about Feroze Khan’s extra-marital affair, then there was a ruckus, after which Sundari left the house and decided to live separately. After this Feroze Khan also started living in live-in with Jyotika.

The two lived together for almost 10 years. Jyotika proposed to marry Feroze Khan, but he refused. This hurt Jyothika a lot. Meanwhile, in an interview, Feroze Khan said that he does not know Jyotika. When Jyotika came to know about this, she was convinced that Firoz would never marry her. Then she ended all her relations with Firoz Khan and went to London.

After Jyotika left, Firoz Khan returned to his family, but his relationship with wife Sundari was not the same as before. Sundari divorces Firoz as things don’t go well.

Wanted to marry Mumtaz, later became Samadhi
Firoz Khan had worked with Mumtaz in films like Naagin, Crime and Mela. The pair of both was very much liked by the audience. There were reports that Firoz Khan wanted to marry Mumtaz, although this did not happen.

Later Mumtaz’s daughter was married to Firoz Khan’s son Fardeen. After this relationship, both became wealthy.

Mumtaz revealed in an interview that when Feroze Khan’s stardom was on top in Bollywood, every actress of that era wanted to work with him. It was also said that Firoz Khan had affair with many actresses. However, later Firoz himself denied the matter of affair.

Pervez Musharraf was blacklisted in Pakistan
In 2006, Feroz Khan went to Pakistan for the promotion of his film Taj Mahal. There he insulted a Pakistani singer. Apart from this, he also criticized Pakistan a lot. During this, he described himself as a proud Indian. After this incident, the then Prime Minister Pervez Musharraf blacklisted him in Pakistan.

Unfulfilled desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan
Firoz revealed in an interview that he wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan in a film. For this, he was ready to accept any condition of Shahrukh. Firoz had also tried several times to sign him in the film, but it could not happen. Shahrukh refused him every time. On this Feroze Khan had said – This boy will remain bound in his romantic image. When the era of his romantic films ends, I will definitely miss him.

Deep friendship with Vinod Khanna, both died on the same date
Firoz Khan and Vinod Khanna had a deep friendship. It was believed that whichever film the two worked together, that film would have been a hit. Firoz Khan died on 27 April 2009 at the age of 69. Exactly 8 years after this, in 2017, Vinod Khanna also died on 27 April.
