Poets poured out poetry in the Smriti Mahotsav fair. The audience kept taking a dip in the Ganges of humor along with Veer Rasa, Oj Rasa and Shringaar Rasa. The patriotic compositions were greatly appreciated by the audience. Prateek Singh, who came from Bhind, inaugurated the Kavi Sammelan by worshiping Mother Sharda and said – Mother, may there be knowledge of truth and lie, may Mother be aware of capabilities, may purity of life remain, may there be poetry in speech. Parth Naveen, who came from Rajasthan Pratapgarh, gathered a lot of applause from the audience by narrating what is inside UP, what is outside UP. Poet coordinator Sachin Dixit infused energy in the audience by reciting the poem of Veer Ras.
Mukesh Shandilya tickled the audience with his humour. Sapna Soni, who came from Dholpur, won the applause of the audience by singing the song with great gusto. Anjay Anjaam, who came from Auraiya, shook the pandal by reciting a poem related to Maharana Pratap and Chetak. He said- Chetak, I swear that Mewar will never be my slave. Deepak Danadan also released such bursts of humor that the audience could not stop themselves from laughing. Manveer enthralled the audience by reciting a poem related to Brij in a melodious manner.

At the end of the Kavi Sammelan, national poet Dr. Vishnu Saxena immersed the audience in the ocean of love. Pleased the audience with ghazals, songs and muktaks. Earlier, the Kavi Sammelan was inaugurated by former ministers Ravikant Garg, Mukesh Khandelwal, fair treasurer Narendra Pathak, coordinator Jagmohan Pathak, Rajendra Prasad Sharma, chairman Saligram Vatia etc. During this, poets like Ashok Sharma, Brajmohan Gaur, Hargobind, Rajdarshan Pachauri, Narendra Pathak, Ashok Pathak, Balkishan Aggarwal tent owner, Maunu Pathak, Suresh Tarkar, Rajendra Sharma etc. welcomed the poets.
