Please tell that Maharaja Suheldev was the emperor of Shravasti in the 11th century. Suheldev killed Salar Masood, nephew of Mahmud Ghaznavi. The people of Rajbhar and Pasi caste consider him their descendant. The impact of these castes is on many seats in Purvanchal. Today, all the government schools of the state will hear the heroic story of Maharaja Suheldev.
Memorial will be built on 82 bigha land
The memorial of Maharaja Suheldev is 8 km from Bahraich headquarters, on the Gonda road, on the banks of the Chittora lake. The memorial will be constructed on 82 bighas of land in Payagpur royalty. It has been given on lease for 30 years by Raja Yashuvendra Vikram Singh, chairman of the memorial committee. This land has been given to Maharaja Suheldev Smriti Nyas.
Two years ago PM released postage stamp
Two years ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the postage stamp of Maharaja Suheldev in Ghazipur. The train dedicated to Maharaja Suheldev was also run by the Modi government. The BJP and Hinduist organizations portray Suheldev as a Hindu king. Om Prakash Rajbhar, a BJP ally till the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the state government, has created Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Bhaspa) in the name of Maharaja Suheldev. He himself is its president. But after his departure from BJP, Anil Rajbhar, who comes from Rajbhar society, has been made cabinet minister by the party.
Administrative officials took stock of the venue.
