Police have arrested two accused after an encounter who had assaulted a businessman at gunpoint and looted his bike, mobile and other documents from him in Pilibhit. The looted bike and other items have been recovered from the accused. Police is investigating the entire case.

On May 23, while complaining in Kareli police station, a person named Mohammad Sagir had told that he was going to work on his motorcycle. During this time, three persons assaulted him at gunpoint and committed robbery. The accused fled after robbing the businessman’s bike and other documents along with his mobile.
The looted goods were recovered
Last night, based on the information of an informer, Kareli police tried to stop the accused riding on a motorcycle on suspicion of robbery. During this, both the accused started firing at the police team. When the police responded to the firing of the accused, both the accused got shot in their legs. Police have arrested two accused named Akash and Kuldeep after the encounter. The stolen motorcycle and other items have been recovered from the accused. CO Vishal Chaudhary said that the police have arrested the two accused who carried out the robbery after the encounter.
