The second accused who shot a finance employee and looted him in Shivpur police station area was arrested by the police on Wednesday night. The police was looking for the criminal Gulshan who had a bounty of 25 thousand rupees on his head for many days. As soon as he reached Banaras, the SOG surrounded him and caught him in an encounter.

Seeing the police jeep, the miscreant fired a shot from his pistol, the policemen narrowly escaped in the firing. They informed the control for backup force and started chasing the miscreant. Seeing the police chasing him, the miscreant fired another shot.
The SOG and police who came for backup also fired bullets, in which one bullet hit Munger resident Gulshan’s leg. As soon as he was shot, he lost his balance and fell on the road along with his bike. The policemen caught him in a hurry.
On receiving information about the encounter, DCP Varuna Chandrakant Meena and ADCP Saravanan T. also took information about the incident and inquired about the accused. The injured robber was sent to Deen Dayal Hospital, where he will be treated. A large number of police forces were also deployed in the hospital.
In July, one lakh rupees were looted from a finance employee
Shiva Sonkar, a resident of Sonkar Basti in Shivpur and Gulshan, a resident of Munger, had shot a finance employee and looted Rs 1 lakh in July. In the robbery, Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Aurai in Bhadohi, was shot in the leg and was injured.
After committing the crime, both the attackers fled from the spot but he was identified through CCTV footage and his appearance. After the crime, he took refuge in another district and on Wednesday he again reached Banaras for another crime.
Police teams were searching for the accused of the robbery and he was constantly changing his location. The police knew very well that Gulshan was a cunning criminal and a reward of Rs 25,000 was also announced on him.
Fired on police, rode bike
On Wednesday night, there was an encounter between the police and the criminal Gulshan near Ring Road Hariharpur in Shivpur police station area. He fired two shots at the police, in response the police team fired four rounds. However, the vicious criminal was caught by the police.
Gulshan, a wanted criminal in the robbery of a finance worker, fell down along with his bike as soon as he was shot by the police. The police immediately took the injured criminal into custody and took him to Deen Dayal Hospital. The police have also recovered a bike, a pistol and two cartridges along with cash from the possession of the robber.
