Lalganj Police and SST team have recovered Rs 84 thousand 1 hundred from a person during checking at Mahadeva intersection. Due to not being able to provide any details about the recovered money, he has been taken into custody.
Vehicles and suspects are being checked by the police and SST team for the purpose of following the model code of conduct during the Vidhan Sabha elections. During checking, Lalganj police and SST team stopped and searched a fort car at Mahadeva intersection and recovered 84 thousand 1 hundred rupees from it. Car driver Vijay Shankar, a resident of Bhikharia village of Dubulia police station area, could not give any satisfactory answer about the rupees nor did he submit any details and forms related to the rupees. Due to this the team took possession of the money.
SO Umashankar Tripathi said that checking was being done at Mahadeva intersection with SST team in-charge Arunveer Singh, FST team in-charge Sunil Yadav and police team. During this, money was recovered from the car. In respect of the recovered money, the car driver was asked to provide income and expenditure details, but he could not provide any form in this regard on the spot. Due to this, necessary legal action is being taken by preparing recovery letter on the spot and taking possession of the recovered money.
