Actors are selling gutkha- Prakash
In an interview to Times of India, Prakash said, “Look at the condition of the actors. Why would they work in my films when they are charging Rs 50 crore for a gutkha ad? You can imagine actors selling gutkha. Ho? What are these top veteran actors doing? We went to a school for location scouting. The school principal asked me what are you guys doing in the Mumbai film industry? Our school boys have been caught eating gutkha. “
Prakash hasn’t worked with a big star for a long time
Prakash Jha further said, “In the North you go to Lucknow, Prayagraj and Mughalsarai, there are big hoardings where all our big stars are selling all kinds of gutkha (tobacco) and pan masala. Haven’t done a film with a big star, but I have done other things and I am happy with it. When stars want to focus on more ingredients than selling gutkha, they will automatically come to me.”
