The woman had reached Patara Police Station yesterday and complained about being beaten up. The woman alleges that the police have not taken any action even after 24 hours. Her brother-in-law is still threatening her. The woman has again reached the police station and lodged a complaint.
Phool Singh’s wife, a resident of Jagdishpur village in Ghatampur, had reached the police station yesterday and complained to the police. She said that her husband is handicapped in his legs. She lives in a separate house with her husband and two children. She is three months pregnant.
It is alleged that her brother-in-law Anil threatens to leave her every day. He also abuses her. When she protested, her brother-in-law Anil beat her up. Due to which she suffered serious injuries in her stomach. Ghatampur Inspector Pradeep Kumar Singh said that the incident is being investigated. Action will be taken.
