The Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is preparing for a major change in the pattern of CA exam. Now it is proposed to do 100% objective in the exam. At present, 30% of the paper is objective and 70% is subjective questions.

ICAI Central Council Member Pramod Kumar Boob, who reached the ICAI’s two-day conference for the first time in Udaipur, said in a special conversation with Bhaskar that it will take less time to check the copy with the objective pattern, which will also increase the chances of examination i.e. May and Examinations can also be conducted except in December.

According to Boob, another change can be seen. Now after the result comes, the candidate gets a copy in 70 days of application, but now he will be able to see the copy within 7 days. The examiner will also be tested before copy checking. The paper will have 25 questions, in which 18 questions have to be answered. Only those with 72% or more marks can check the copy.

He said that it is a crime to issue a non-supply bill and a non-supply bill. Stringent provisions are being made in this regard by the government.
