These days Akshay Kumar is in discussion about his upcoming action-comedy film ‘Bachchan Pandey’. At the same time, ‘Prithviraj’ of his historical genre is also coming this year. 11th century Delhi, Kannauj and Ajmer have been recreated in this film. The structure of the luxurious palaces there was built in Mumbai.

7 Giant Sets of Palaces Created
Sources associated with the film told, “According to the story, a total of 7 huge sets of palaces have been created in it. About 18 to 20 crores were spent on it. Sanjay Dutt is in a powerful character in this. He is the uncle of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan and The then powerful feudal lord Kaka is in the role of Kanh.Sanjay Dutt has a positive role in ‘Prithviraj’.

Sources further added, “While Sanjay Dutt is in a negative role in filmmaker Aditya Chopra’s ‘Shamshera’, he is in the role of a jailer of British rule. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen avenging his father’s death in it. Ranbir Kapoor, meanwhile, went to the T-Series office over the weekend. He is about to start the shoot of T-Series’ next production ‘Animal’. He is also busy shooting for Luv Ranjan’s Shraddha Kapoor starrer film till recently. Sanjay Dutt’s T-Series too. With ‘Tulsidas Junior’ is coming in. Sanjay has become a snooker player.

Sanjay will be seen in the role of Kaka Kanh in ‘Prithviraj’
Sanjay Dutt’s character in ‘Prithviraj’ is that of the brave warrior Kaka Kanh. It was said about him that his eyes were kept blindfolded. When he got angry, Kaka Kanh used to remove the bandage from his eyes. After that he could wreak any havoc on the battlefield. That’s why his name was Kaka Kanh.

Akshay shot scenes with 500 to 700 junior artists
Sources reveal that for the preparation of this film, Akshay Kumar also worked extra hard than the rest of his films. Akshay Kumar attended a separate workshop to ensure that there is no error in the diction in the role of Prithviraj. The research reiki went on for a month before the shooting of the movie started. All the war scenes in the film, Akshay filmed with 500 to 700 junior artists. Especially in the scenes of Sanyogita’s Swayamvar and Ashwamedha Yagya. Everyone was surprised that Akshay Kumar had given a month in preparation for the character. He also gained weight for this character. He also shot fight scenes with a heavy sword.

The height of each palace set was kept at 50 feet.
The film required seven to seven gigantic palaces as per the demand of the script. They were created in a big ground in Dahisar instead of Mumbai’s Film City. Another reason for that was that in those days most of the grounds and studios of Filmcity were already books. Therefore, the palaces of Chauhan, Jaichand and the then 11th century kings were built in the Sinte Ground of Dahisar.

The height of each palace set was kept at 50 feet. Aditya Chopra had clear instructions that green chroma would not be used anywhere at the location. He wanted that there should be no compromise with the grandeur of the palaces. Green chroma will be used only for top view angle shots. So every nook and corner of the palaces were recreated. Original marble, stone and chandeliers were installed in the palaces. For a total of 7 to 8 months, 900 workers together erected those palaces.
