IndiaMART has announced vacancy for the post of Area Sales Manager. The shortlisted candidate on this post will be responsible for ensuring sales funnel, conversion and sales productivity. Additionally, must have experience leading a large team in the sales acquisition process.
Role and Responsibility:
- Managing channel partners for sales of paid subscription packages through Ground Sales Executives.
- Ensuring team hiring, training, management and retention.
- Conducting daily meetings as well as ensuring qualitative and quantitative inputs.
- Responsible for ensuring sales funnel, conversion and sales productivity.
- Tracking and monitoring input KPIs (like data and hot leads) to help improve productivity.
- Improving performance through incentive structures and sales promotions.
- Responsibility to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets as per SOP.
- Reporting on time in prescribed format.
Required skills:
- Must have experience in leading a large team in the sales acquisition process.
- Building good relationships with the team through a consultative sales approach.
- Must have listening, questioning and networking skills.
- Must have report management, analysis and alignment skills.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate or post graduate candidates in any stream can apply for this post.
Experience :
- To apply for this post, graduate candidates should have 3 years of experience.
- Apart from this, one should have at least 1 year of experience in managing a team of more than 10 people.
