On Tuesday, on the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Neglected Tropical Disease Day, a public awareness program was organized in schools and colleges of various blocks of the district. Detailed information was given about the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, protection and prevention of neglected tropical diseases like filariasis, malaria, dengue, leprosy etc.
