Bollywood and Pollywood have once again come face to face. Punjabi singer and actor Ranjit Bawa has protested against the Bollywood movie ‘Good Luck Jerry’. Bawa said that once again Punjab has been shown as a chitta (drug) in this movie. He asked the question that in Bollywood movies, Punjab will be shown only as a drug state.
Singer Jassi supported Bawa. He said that Bollywood has always been showing Punjab as thoughtless. The reason for this is that there is no culture policy from the Punjab government.
In his tweet, Ranjit Bawa also talked about it being shameful and targeting Punjab. He has also tagged the Punjab government in this regard.
