Mother’s grace is such that no person in this city sleeps hungry. A treasure that is opened only once a year, which houses the lava and coins found from this treasure. Wealth and grains increase in his house. If the lava found from this treasure is kept in the grain box at home, the entire family will never have to sleep hungry.
The place of Maa Annapurna is situated in the southern part of Dhundhiraj.
Mahant Shankar Puri of Annapurna Temple told that Bhavani Annapurna and Lord Shankar are present behind Shukreshwar in Kashipuri. Puri Kashi of Mata Annapurna in Kaliyuga
According to Mahant Shankarpuri of Annapurna Temple, “After marriage with Lord Shankar, Goddess Parvati expressed her desire to reside in Kashipuri. Mahadev took her to Avimukt-kshetra (Kashi). At that time Kashi was a great cremation city. Mother Parvati did not like this.
Then an arrangement was made after discussion between Shiva and Parvati. That is, Kashi will remain a cremation ground in Sat, Treta and Dwapar Yugas, but in Kalikal, it will become the Puri of Annapurna. For this reason, at present the temple of Annapurna is the main Devi Peetha of Kashi. The name Kashipith is also mentioned among the future names of Kashi in the Puranas.
Annapurna is the goddess of food
Pandit Ajay Sharma told that it is mentioned in ‘Kashikhand’ of Skandapuran that Lord Vishweshwar is a householder and Bhavani runs his household.
