It has been raining since morning in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Slow-down rains have brought relief to the residents of the capital from the sultry heat. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain in about 22 districts on Friday as well.
Uttar Pradesh has received 6.3 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. So far, 215.4 mm of rain has been recorded since the onset of monsoon. Releasing the Meteorological Department, it has forecast rain in 20 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
To save relief, the state government has deployed 52 teams of NDRF, SDRF and PAC in 33 districts. In Uttar Pradesh, 15 villages in 3 districts Kushinagar Mau Sitapur are affected by floods. There are total 17 such villages in the state. Where the effects of the flood are being seen. There are nine villages in Kushinagar, one in Mau and 7 in Sitapur.
Rain alert in these districts on Friday
Director of Meteorological Department JP Gupta says that on Friday there will be rain in Agra, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Rampur, Lalitpur, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Badhayu and Bareilly. There will also be a flash of lightning at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour, issuing a yellow alert here. Apart from this, the wind will blow at a speed of 70 kilometers per hour, issuing the retailer. It can rain in between flashes like lightning. Those in the red district include districts like Farrukhabad and Sitapur.
