A woman fell into a pit after rain in Azamgarh.
The first rain in Azamgarh district has exposed the Nagar Palika. Due to the rain, the roadways got flooded. Due to which a female passenger fell when she stepped on the drain. Seeing the woman falling, a passenger rushed to save her and he too fell in the water. This makes us understand that

Due to the rain in the district, many areas including Chowk, Sidhari, Roadways, Old Kotwali were flooded. The Nagar Palika did not do any work on the preparations that should have been done before the monsoon. This is the reason that waterlogging started happening in many places. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of the state will remain the same tomorrow as well.
Some relief from the heat
The rain in the district has brought down the temperature a little. Due to this, the general public seems to be getting relief. The district’s agricultural scientist Dr. Rudra Pratap Singh says that this rain will provide relief to the farmers who have planted paddy. This is definitely a lifesaver for the farmers.
