Bengaluru had to face defeat for the second consecutive match on its home ground. LSG achieved its second consecutive win in the current season.

To confirm its place in the top-4, the team will have to win 8 out of 14 matches. The team finishing in the top-2 will get 2 chances to go to the finals. At the same time, the team finishing third and fourth will have to first play the eliminator and then compete for the ticket to the final against the losing team in the number-1 vs number-2 match.
