The kind of naked dance that the police did yesterday in the by-elections, especially in Mirapur, Kundarki, Sisamau and Kathari, is an alarm bell for the public system.

Atrocities have taken place everywhere but in the above mentioned areas the administration has crossed all limits of decorum. In Meerapur, Kundarki Sisamau, Muslim voters were prevented from voting at gunpoint. These elections should be canceled and re-elections should be held under the supervision of paramilitary forces.
