Umesh Mishra, a 40-year-old priest of the Ram temple near the Annapurna temple complex located in the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Red Zone, committed suicide by hanging himself. Umesh often stayed in the second floor room in the campus. He hanged himself with a fan. Seeing the room closed for a long time, the people associated with the temple informed the Dashashwamedh police station. Police reached the spot and removed the body and sent it for postmortem.

Was mentally disturbed for a few months

The deceased Umesh Mishra is being told that he was a resident of Khataura Kala village in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Sala Shivam told that he was married to my sister Nandini about ten years ago. Brother-in-law came to Kashi long ago. Then he joined the same temple. He used to watch both the priest and the manager’s work. He also has an eight-year-old son. He was upset for a few days, but did not tell anyone the reason. He told Didi on the phone in the morning, to cook in the evening and come and eat.

Police did not get any suicide note from the room

ASP Dashashmegh Awadhesh Pandey told that no notes have been found from the room. No reason has been found in the conversation with the wife. The matter of any dispute with anyone has not been revealed so far. Was worried about something for a few days. But what was disturbed, is being investigated.
