Rana Daggubati has completed his 11 years in the film industry this year. His new Telugu film ‘Aranya’ is scheduled to release on this Friday (2 April). Another of his films is ready for release, that is ‘Kaadan’. But the film’s release has currently been postponed due to Corona’s growing case. The film will be released in Tamil as well as Hindi and will be titled ‘Hathi Mere Saathi’.
Acting was started from 2010
Rana, the grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke winner-producer D Rama Naidu, started his career in 2010 by acting in the Telugu political drama ‘Leader’. Then a year later he made his Bollywood entry with Rohan Sippy’s multistarrer film ‘Dum Maro Dum’ and surprised everyone with his acting. He is mostly seen working in Telugu cinema.
Rana did not want to follow the regular set pattern
During an interview, Rana had said, “When I came into the industry, there was nothing and there was no option. We only had mainstream cinema and I had very few things to choose from. I am not someone who has done the same regular love stories. I had never been to college, so I could not connect with those college stories either. I am not someone who follows the set pattern of regular, comercial cinema such as revenge, action or peace. ‘
