Ranbir Kapoor spoke to the media as he arrived to cast his vote in Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. He urged people to step out and cast their votes.
A number of Bollywood celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Rajkummar Rao, Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and others stepped out this morning to cast their votes in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. Ranbir Kapoor also led by example, and was seen arriving at his designated poll booth to exercise his fundamental right to vote. Not just that, the actor also spoke to the media, and made a clarion call to vote.
Ranbir Kapoor was spotted in a casual look as he arrived at his designated polling station in Mumbai. He donned a white t-shirt and green pants as he made his way to vote. After voting, he was seen posing with a few fans outside. During his interaction with the media, he said, “Right now it’s voting day and it’s your birth right. Ye aapka farz hai to come and vote. If you haven’t. it’s open till 6pm and Pali Hill place is open till 8 pm so please come and cast your vote.” Check out the video below!
Voting for the single-phase Maharashtra Assembly Elections began at 7 am in the morning, and a number of celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ali Fazal, Farhan Akhtar, were seen arriving to cast their votes.
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ alongside Sai Pallavi and Yash. The film was officially announced a few days ago. The makers shared a poster of the film on social media, revealing that the movie will be released in two parts — one in 2026 and the other in 2027. Ranbir Kapoor will reportedly play the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi is said to portray Sita. Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
