Rishi Kapoor has a birthday anniversary on 4 September. On the 68th Birth Anniversary, he looks at an emotional note written by his son Ranbir Kapoor in Rishi Kapoor’s biography Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored which was published in 2017.
Ranbir had mentioned in this note the most important gift from his father. Ranbir wrote, “When I sit calmly and look at my relationship with my father, I can say that he has given me two of the best things in life.” One is my sister Riddhima and the other is my mother. Papa set an example before us that my mother Neetu is the focal point of our lives. During them, we will not be able to touch any ups and downs in life.

Father told the best husband
Apart from this, Ranbir had described Rishi as an excellent husband in this note. He and Neetu remained together despite many differences and battles. Ranbir said that he never saw Rishi’s love and respect for Neetu diminish. The love of both is and will remain an example for her and Riddhima.
Rishi Kapoor married Neetu in 1980.
Talking about his personal relationship with his father, Ranbir said that he felt that as a father, Rishi treated him as his father (Raj Kapoor) treated him. Being a son, Ranbir never crossed his line but there was a gap between the two which he did not consider to be right. This is the reason why Ranbir wants Relax Equation with his children because Rishi never treated him like a friend.
