Ranbir Kapoor attended his cousin Aadar Jain’s roka ceremony with Alekha Advani on Saturday evening in Mumbai. Accompanied by his mother, Neetu Kapoor, the mother-son duo posed for the paparazzi outside Reema Jain’s house before heading inside for the celebration.
While Neetu dazzled in a vibrant pink saree accessorised with statement jewelry, Ranbir kept it classic in an all-black ensemble, exuding effortless style. The duo smiled warmly for the cameras, with Ranbir giving a quick wave.

However, fans couldn’t help but notice the absence of Ranbir’s wife, Alia Bhatt. Social media was abuzz with speculation, with many wondering why Alia skipped such a significant family event.
Aadar Jain, son of Reema Jain and Manoj Jain, got engaged to Alekha Advani in September this year. The couple had shared the happy news with a heartfelt Instagram post, where Aadar wrote, “My first crush, my best friend & now, my forever.” Their relationship has since captured the attention of fans, with the roka ceremony marking another milestone in their love story.
Before dating Alekha, Aadar was in a relationship with actress Tara Sutaria. The former couple made several public appearances together, including Kapoor family events like Christmas celebrations and Armaan Jain’s wedding. However, their relationship ended amicably in 2023. Interestingly, Alekha and Tara reportedly shared a close bond, with Alekha even tagging herself as the “third wheel” in a throwback photo with Aadar and Tara.
The roka ceremony was a grand yet intimate affair, with the Kapoor family showing their support and joy for Aadar and Alekha’s new chapter.
