Ranbir Kapoor shared a childhood story: Being Rishi Kapoor’s son, seniors used to bully him in school

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor came as a guest on Kareena Kapoor’s chat show ‘What Women Want’. On the show, the actor talked about his films, the experience of becoming a father and his experience in the film industry.

Talking about his daughter Raha, Ranbir said – As a child, I used to be bullied for being Rishi Kapoor’s son. On this, Kareena asked whether being the son of a star can make people feel so bad? What were you bullied for?

Ranbir said – Sometimes seniors used to bully me in school because of being the son of an actor. This is because I used to be a soft target for them.

Ranbir said that he did not let this bully behavior affect him. He said – with such things you build a mud wall in front of you. Such things teach you how to deal with the world. The only condition is that you do not let it dominate you. It worked for me in a positive way. I never felt that much went wrong with me in my childhood. Yes, this should not have happened.

When asked when did you know that it was Alia that you were looking for, Ranbir simply said that we became friends during the shooting of ‘Brahmastra’. Ranbir further said – We knew each other before, but everything happened naturally during the course of the film.

Ranbir further said about getting married in the film industry that it is a big loss for actors that we cannot meet anyone. Our work is such that we meet people only on the sets of the film. My parents also married their co-stars in the industry.
